Gina White, Owner / Director
Coach Gina is from Cincinnati, Ohio. She began taking gymnastics class at age 3 and grew up in the gym competing all the way through Level 10 USAG.
Gina has a background of over 15 years in the industry, with experience ranging from recreational and competitive gymnastics, to summer camps, and recreation teams. A former Level 10 gymnasts herself, Gina's passion for gymnastics comes from a deep desire to teach athletes leadership and life skills that will stay with them long after their gymnastics career comes to an end.
After high school Coach Gina decided to put her gymnastics dreams on hold to pursue a degree in Biology from Spelman College, where she graduated in 2010.
She found herself back in the gym coaching in 2008 and reignited her passion for gymnastics through teaching kids life lessons, both inside and outside of the gym.
Naja Johnson, Head Coach
Coach Naja grew up in Smryna, Georgia and has been involved in Gymnastics for over 20 years.
She grew up in Atlanta School Gymnastics under the leadership of the legendary Tom Cook. She competed for ASG from Level 6 to Level 10 All Around State Championships as a Level 8, 9 and 10; as well as All Around Regional Championships Level 9 and Level 10 . She also qualified to Level 10 Nationals 5 out of 6 years of competing Level 10.
Coach Naja received a Full Gymnastics Scholarship to her Alma Mater, West Virginia University.
After graduating in 2011, she began coaching a few nights a week. Falling in love with the sport in a new way, Coach Naja wanted to turn her part time involvement into full time and took the Head Coach position here at Phoenix Gymnastics.

Coach Autumn, Team Coach & Front Office Manager
Autumn is the Front Desk Manager and Events Coordinator, alongside coaching the Gymstars team at Sandy Springs Gymnastics.
Autumn has been coaching since she was 16 years old. She started competing at Junior Olympic Level 3 at age 8, and continued up until High School. Her favorite event is floor.
She is young and enthusiastic about helping girls boost their confidence. Autumn leads the Girls United group at the gym, where she host workshops for the girls at Sandy Springs Gymnastics. Ask her about her workshops if you see her around the gym.
She is a thrill seeker and you can find her at Sixflags on the weekends!
Coach Maria, Recreation Coach
Coach Maria has coached preschool gymnastics for over 7 years and loves enjoying the thrill of gymnastics with your little ones. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a BA in Elementary Education and currently teaches kindergarten dual language. in Spanish and English.
Coach Maria is also a full time momma to her beautiful daughter. She has been in Atlanta for 7 years, coaching at Hammond Park for 5 years.

Coach Katheryn, Recreation & Team Coach
Coach Katheryn is an Atlanta coaching veteran. She began coaching in Atlanta at Roswell Rec in 1992. She has a passion for empowering her students and has worked at numerous gyms in the Atlanta area including Decatur-Dekalb YMCA, Atlanta School of Gymnastics, and Peachtree Presbyterian Gymnastics
Coach Katheryn teaches Gym Stars, our recreation competitive team. When she's not coaching, she enjoys drawing and painting for kids.
Kyla Langdon, Recreation Coach and Dance Instructor
Kyla Langdon is from Chicago, IL. She has been teaching Dance & Gymnastics for the past 4 years; but has been working with kids in various capacities between the ages of 6 months and 13 years old for the past 10 years. She also dances professionally, in Atlanta; she currently dances for City Gate Dance Theater, a contemporary Ballet company.
Kyla has been trained in all dance styles ranging from Ballet to West African and everything in between. When Kyla’s not at the gym, you can find her applying for medical school, dancing or hanging with friends. Although she has reached the professional level, she finds that the best way to stay current and passionate is to continue to train. “The process is continuous.” Kyla also holds a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and Dance and Movement Studies from Emory University and a Master’s in Public Health from Mercer University Atlanta.
Kyla loves taking risks and challenging herself to attain new skills and broaden her horizons in as many ways as possible.
Coach Kaya, Preschool Coach
Coach Kaya Lindsay was raised in South Florida and has been an competing athlete since her journey began at 6 years old. She attended college in Tallahassee and experienced life at FAMU and Florida State. She's always loved working with children and has over 8 years of coaching experience. When Kaya isn't teaching gymnastics she's working on her own business as a real estate agent or spending time with her toddler.
Naima Rodriguez: Front Desk Aid and Assistant Preschool Director
Naima grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and is currently attending Georgia State University. While she is new to our program, she is not new to kids as she has been working with children of all ages for 5 years now. In addition to coaching our preschool gymnastics program, she is also one of our front desk aids and is available to help with anything you need!
